Brittany Scott 
Director of Creative Arts Center

Brittany Scott, specializing in tap, ballet, jazz, and clogging, began dancing at age 6 at Miss Patties Dance School in Carrollton, Texas. She continued her dance training at Christian Dance Academy and Power Dance Productions where she studied clogging, ballet, pointe, tap, lyrical, jazz, and hip-hop. 

 

During her time on the competitive dance team, they won several regional and national titles as well as danced with the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and in the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. She also studied and trained under the Cecchetti method of ballet. Brittany tested and became certified through grade IV of the Cecchetti method through the Cecchetti Council of America. 

 

Brittany graduated high school from Trinity Christian Academy and was invited to be on the McLennan Community College dance team along with a dance scholarship. They attended the National Dance Association Collegiate Nationals in Daytona, Florida in 2005 and won 2nd place overall. 

 

Brittany and her family moved to Gainesville in 2012. She had been teaching dance in Plano and other locations for the last 13 years. Brittany began teaching for Cooke County Ballet Academy in Gainesville, Texas in 2012. In 2014 Brittany took over Creative Arts Center in Muenster, TX. Teaching is a huge passion of hers, and doing so while dancing only makes it better.
